Credentials¶
token — A GitHub Personal Access Token (PAT) with the repo scope.
- Go to GitHub > Settings > Developer settings > Personal access tokens.
- Grant the
reposcope (required to search pull requests across repositories). - For organisations using SSO, authorise the token for the relevant organisation after creation.
Token required
Unlike some other GitHub widgets, the GitHub PRs widget requires a token. PR search queries must be authenticated; unauthenticated requests will fail.
Fine-grained tokens
GitHub fine-grained PATs can be scoped to specific repositories. Grant Pull requests: Read-only and Contents: Read-only for least-privilege access.
